I read this one at a beach and it’s set on a small island.

So This is Love- What book were you hesitant to read at first but ended up loving? I was hesitant to read Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard.

I think all of my books changed the way I thought.

Two Mini Reviews

Title: The Whole Cat and Caboodle

Star Rating: 5 Stars

Review: Read this book for my book club. At first I thought I wasn’t going to like it. It has been my favorite one so far. The setting and the characters were amazing. I especially loved the cat that was named Elvis. I’m not usually a cat person. I would highly recommend it.

Title: Princess Jellyfish Vol. 1

Star Rating: 5 Stars

Review: This one was more relatable in the sense that she’s a super fan of something. I’m also a super fan of something. She’s sometimes to shy to go after what she wants. I’m also the same way. I think the lessons you learn are so important even in comic format. Great title for anyone not just manga fans.

My Reading Journey

         When I tell people my favorite hobby is reading. I doubt people realize that I didn't always like it. In fact I struggled to read when I was younger. 
         When I was elementary school I had to resource class and speech therapy.  Although I love to read now I struggled to pronounce and end had a hard time reading. I can still remember looking at a page back then and feeling so lost or even drawing a blank. 
         I hated when the teacher would call on me to read out loud to class. I always thought that my other peers were making fun of me. Even though it probably wasn't true. 
          In fifth grade they switched schools and the resource programs were not the best. So my parents insisted that would be tested out of them. There were still a few years that I still didn't like to read. 
          When I got to high school I discovered that I can escape my problems by reading. Thats when I started to love to read. I devoured the things I read and really enjoyed everything I read. I still really enjoy reading this day.

1. What age did you start to read romance novels? I would say probably 12, but I always loved watching romance long before reading.

2. If you could pick one hero to meet from your favorite romance novels who would it be and why? I would go with someone from my shojo manga.

3. Who are your favorite romance authors and why? I don’t have anyone in particular for this question.

4. What is a favorite romance novel to re-read? I would go with either Sailor Moon or Fruits Basket. 

They are both mangas that I grew up with.

5. What book would you recommend to a non romance reader? I would recommend a checking out anime before reading shojo.

6. Which is your favorite, contemporary, suspense, or historical and why?

Either contemporary or suspense.
